HF Long Range PIT Tag Readers

High frequency RFID has the advantage of anti-collision protocol which allows reading up to 100 tags per antenna.  The antennas are smaller, the read range is shorter than low frequency RFID but it is very useful for projects with multiple tags in the same field.  HF is useful for nests of birds, bats, reptiles, small mammals, etc.  An antenna over or under the nest can provide residency and traffic information that cannot be recorded with LF PIT readers.  Contact Oregon RFID Tech Support to discuss if this technology is appropriate for your question.
